- Keep a stock of low calorie snacks on hand: cut up carrots, celery and buy a packet of rice cakes

- Laugh wherever and as often as you can
- Make an effort to include fruits and vegetables at every meal
- Keep a bowl of fruit on your desk at work and snack regularly on grapes, plums apples etc. throughout the day
- Take the stairs, not the lift
- Get more fibre. Always choose wholemeal bread and add beans or a handful of raw, un-roasted nuts and seeds to your salad
- Eat the skin on your baked potato. Don't eat the skin on your chicken

- Drink lots of green tea and for every cup of coffee you drink, drink a glass of water
- Take time out of the office for a minimum of 20 minute a day. Stretch at your desk as often as possible

- Religiously drink six to eight 300ml glasses of water everyday, more if it is hot or you are working out
Learn the difference between good V bad fat: Good = avocados, un-roasted / raw nuts, seeds, fish oils, flaxseed oil, hemp oil, extra virgin olive oil. Bad = Salted peanuts, margarine, fatty meats, cakes.
